Start-finish venue and course details

The event venue is the Traralgon Recreation Reserve & Showgrounds (Whitakers Road).

You can also view a map of the Traralgon Recreation Reserve to help you navigate your way around, to the start and finish, parking and all of the other facilities.

From the Recreation Reserve participants run through Victory Park and under the highway, around to Franklin Street and up to Marshalls Road, with half and full marathon participants continuing on to the Gippsland Plains Rail Trail.

The 51st Traralgon Marathon and Running Festival incorporates three events:

  1. The 51st Traralgon Marathon – 42.2km
  2. Half Marathon – 21.1km
  3. 10km
  4. Kids 2km

To help our event management, if you anticipate taking longer than 4hrs 30mins to complete the marathon you are requested to make an early start at 7:05am.
